Officers in Annapolis Valley seized a quantity of shatter - a highly potent derivative of marijuana – during a traffic stop on Sunday.
Cpl. Michael Hynes of the Nova Scotia RCMP says the drugs were seized at a traffic services checkpoint.
Police seized a small amount of marijuana and 32 grams of shatter.
The 25-year-old male passenger of the vehicle was arrested at the scene and later released from custody.
He is scheduled to appear in Kentville provincial court on May 16 to face trafficking charges.
