MONCTON, N.B. - A 39-year-old New Brunswick man has been charged with attempted murder after shots were allegedly fired at a home in Grande-Digue.

Luc Lebreton was also charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm in Moncton provincial court Wednesday.

He was arrested following a home invasion at about 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 30.

Lebreton was charged earlier this month with break and enter, discharging a firearm, assault with a weapon and breach of a recognizance.

He remains in police custody and is due back in court on Jan. 6.
