Police confirm two men found dead after a fire in Sheet Harbour were murdered.

Their names have not been released, but police say the men are from the Halifax area.

One man is believed to be in his late 50s, while the other is in his early 20s.

Police responded to a fire at a camp off Highway 374 near Sheet Harbour Wednesday.

They found the men’s bodies in the burned-out rubble of the camp, which was destroyed in the blaze.

Police are investigating the cause of the fire and what they call “the criminal nature of their deaths.”
