Inverness RCMP says a 19-year-old man was arrested after live plants, dried marijuana and a highly potent marijuana derivative was found in his Whycocomagh, N.S., home.

He will appear in Port Hawkesbury provincial court on May 30 to face trafficking charges.

Police say another search was conducted Friday in Waycobah, N.S., about five minutes from the first search.

A quantity of marijuana, oxycodone tablets, drug paraphernalia, and cash was seized as a result.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested at the home without incident and a 48-year-old Waycobah man turned himself in to police shortly after.

Both are scheduled to appear in Port Hawksurry provincial court on April 25 to face trafficking charges.
