The RCMP are investigating the death of a woman in a small rural community in northeast New Brunswick.
Police say the body of the 59-year-old woman was found in her home in Saumarez, near Tracadie-Sheila, around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.
At this point, police are treating her death as suspicious and say foul play has not been ruled out.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
The woman’s name has not been released, pending notification of her family.
