BAYFIELD, NOVA SCOTIA -- RCMP say the body of a missing canoeist has been recovered off northeastern Nova Scotia.
Sgt. Alain LeBlanc says the body was found by a local fisherman earlier today.
The 33-year-old man went missing after a canoe capsized near Bayfield on Sunday.
LeBlanc had no other details about the recovery but said earlier that the man wasn't wearing a life jacket.
Police had been using a dive team to assist the search since Monday.
The man's name has not been released.
