GLACE BAY, N.S. - Police in Cape Breton have charged a suspect in connection with a stabbing that sent a man to hospital.
Walter Joseph Young of Glace Bay faces charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
The 30-year-old was arrested yesterday after police responded to reports of a disturbance on Seaview Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they learned that a 46-year-old man was already in hospital with non-life-threatening stab wounds.
A weapon was seized.
Police say both the accused and the victim know each other.
