Halifax Regional Police are investigating a potential food tampering incident after a man found a pin inside a chocolate bar.

Police say the man wasn’t injured when he took a bite out of the Godiva brand bar Saturday.

He bought it at The Bay in Mic Mac Mall on Friday.

The incident was reported to The Bay and the remaining chocolate bars were removed from the shelves.

Police are asking anyone who finds a foreign object in food to keep the object, the food and the wrapper or packaging it came in, and to contact them.
