Kevin Boudreau has been found alive and well after an extensive search.

Search crews and volunteers were into their fifth day of searching in the Bear Island, N.B., area on Wednesday when the 41-year-old was found.

RCMP say he was located on a snowmobile trail near Scotch Lake Road at about 1:40 p.m. and appeared to be in good condition.

Boudreau was taken to hospital for a medical evaluation.

He left home on an all-terrain vehicle at around 2 p.m. Friday. He was reported missing on Saturday after he did not return. His ATV was found in the woods.

About 50 searchers, police dogs and helicopters were involved in the search.
