Missing man found in Cape Breton, sent to hospital for treatment

The Inverness County District RCMP say a missing 54-year-old man has been found and sent to hospital.

Mark Pawson was visiting a residence on East Big Intervale Road in Margaree Valley, N.S. on the weekend. Police said he left the home around 1 a.m. Sunday and was reported missing on Monday.

Pawson is originally from Ontario but is visiting the area.

Police said Tuesday morning that Pawson has been located and sent to hospital in Halifax for medical treatment.
