The RCMP have identified the victims of a head-on collision in Shelburne County, N.S.
Police and emergency crews responded to the crash on Highway 103 in Birchtown before 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
They say a westbound car collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle.
The drivers, and lone occupants of their vehicles, were pronounced dead at the scene.
They have been identified as 72-year-old Daniel Eugene Clayton of Shelburne and 80-year-old Bernice Ruth Somers of Barrington.
The incident remains under investigation.
