The RCMP are investigating after a metal object was found inside a potato in Nova Scotia’s Pictou County.
Police say someone found what appears to be a brad nail used in a nail gun inside the potato last Friday.
The 20-pound bag of Country Magic white potatoes had been purchased from a Sobeys store in New Glasgow.
No one was injured and police say they haven’t received reports of any other incidents in the area.
The incident remains under investigation.
