An 83-year-old woman died after her vehicle struck a pole outside Kentville, N.S., on Thursday.
Kings District RCMP say around 10:30 a.m., the woman lost control of the vehicle while driving near Thorpe Road in Centreville, N.S.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A section of Highway 359 was temporarily closed, but re-opened around 7 p.m. Thursday night.
