PARADISE, N.L. -- The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says the chief medical examiner has determined the death of a 31-year-old man is suspicious.

Police aren't saying how Robert James Pitcher of Paradise died but say it was a targeted act.

The body was found Monday in a wooded area off Seascape Drive in Paradise.

Police say they don't believe there is any risk to public safety.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
