Halifax Regional Police have laid charges after a gas station was robbed on Robie Street Sunday morning.

Police say officers were called to the Irving on Robie Street around 5 a.m. after two men produced a knife and robbed the store of cigarettes, money and other items.

Police say they arrested two men and a woman in the 5700 block of West Street in Halifax a short time later. 

A 31-year-old from Millbrook, N.S., will appear in Halifax provincial court Monday to face charges of robbery and breaching a court order.

The other man and woman were interviewed and released from custody without charges.

Police are still searching for a white man in his early 20s, about five-foot-five with a scruffy face and a buzz cut.

He was wearing a light-coloured sweat shirt with horizontal blue stripesand dark blue pants at the time of the incident.
