EASTERN PASSAGE, N.S. – Cole Harbour RCMP say that a woman was held against her will and assaulted at a home in Eastern Passage.
On Aug. 26 around 8 p.m., RCMP say they received a complaint from the 22-year-old woman that she had been confined, assaulted and had personal property taken from her by force.
RCMP say a 25-year-old man was arrested and later released under strict conditions.
The period of time during which she was confined has not been released.
RCMP say the man and woman knew each other. She was not injured during the assault.
The man will appear in Dartmouth Provincial court on Oct. 10, 2014 to face charges.
