PORT HAWKESBURY, N.S. -- A man is dead following a head-on collision in eastern Nova Scotia.
The Mounties say the crash happened at 5:40 p.m. on Highway 104 in Havre Boucher.
The RCMP say an SUV travelling westbound collided with a tractor trailer headed eastbound near Exit 38.
The lone occupant of the SUV, a man from the nearby Port Hawkesbury area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
