SYDNEY, N.S. - Police in Sydney, N.S., say they are still trying to confirm the cause of death after a body was found following a suspicious house fire early Monday.
Cape Breton Regional Police say given the condition of the body it could take some time to identify the victim, who is believed to be a female.
The body was found inside the home on the Lingan Road.
Two police investigative units and the provincial fire marshal's office continue to work at the scene.
Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
