An elderly woman is recovering after she was struck in a Halifax crosswalk.
Police say the 77-year-old woman was in a crosswalk at the intersection of Queen and Green streets when she was hit.
She was treated at the scene and sought further treatment at the hospital for minor injuries.
The driver, a 61-year-old man, was issued a ticket for failing to stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk
