The New Brunswick RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a man reported missing from a special care home in the Inkerman area.
Police say 38-year-old Yann Richard left the care home on Route 113 around 8 a.m. Tuesday. He was reported missing shortly after 9 p.m. when he failed to return.
Investigators believe he may be heading to the Moncton area.
Police say Richard has threatened to harm himself in the past and his family and caregivers are concerned for his safety and well-being.
Richard is described as a white male who is six-foot-one inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.
Police say he walks with a limp and was last seen wearing a ball hat, dark pants, a jacket and a dark-coloured backpack.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
