Halifax Regional Police are looking for a suspect after an employee was threatened and items were stolen from a convenience store in Dartmouth.
Police say the man entered the Needs in Highfield Park around 7:30 p.m. Sunday and threatened the woman working behind the counter with a knife.
The man allegedly fled the store with some cash and cigarettes.
Police say officers checked the area, along with a K9 unit, but they failed to locate the suspect.
No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a tall, thin, white man in his mid-thirties, with blue eyes. He was wearing a black jacket and grey hoodie up around his face and was carrying a bag over his shoulder at the time of the incident.
