A 41-year-old Moncton woman is dead after a motorcycle collided with a car in the city Thursday afternoon.
The RCMP responded to the crash at the intersection of Mountain Road and Plaza Boulevard shortly before 3:20 p.m.
Police say it appears the car was travelling northbound when it collided with the motorcycle, which was travelling southbound on Mountain Road.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
