A funeral was held in Charlottetown Friday to commemorate the life of Tanner Craswell, one of the three victims of a triple murder-suicide that took place on a highway in Alberta Dec. 11.
Craswell, who had turned 22 the day before the tragedy, was remembered as a promising baseball player and as a young man who "had no problem showing his emotion."
Robbie Doherty, one of the victim's friends, was one of over 600 people in attendance at the Church of the Most Holy. He says "he was a great guy. Always such a great team guy. He had an amazing work ethic, you know he didn't just want success. He wanted to do the things that it took to be successful."
Mitch MacLean, Craswell's teammate who was also murdered, was buried yesterday.
Shawna Conway, the only survivor of the attack, is said to be doing well considering the circumstances and remains in a hospital in Alberta.
