Police say two Dartmouth youths have been found safe and sound after they were reported missing on Monday.
Olivia Dawn Richard, 12, and Brianna Hope Richard, 13, were last seen around 4 p.m. Monday on Gottingen Street after they left a family member’s home.
They were reported missing to police at 4:45 p.m. after they failed to return to their Pleasant Street home.
Police issued a news release Tuesday afternoon, saying the girls were believed to be together in the Dartmouth area.
They issued another release around 7 p.m., saying the girls had been found safe and sound.
