Samantha Long is a web writer with CTV Atlantic in Halifax.

Born and raised in St. John’s, N.L., she attended Memorial University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science.

Samantha went on to earn a diploma in journalism from Algonquin College in Ottawa.

After graduation, she began her career in journalism as a business reporter with allNovaScotia.

In 2021, Samantha joined the CTV Atlantic team as a web writer. She is a generalist with a special interest in covering politics.
