Here is a list of closures and cancellations for Feb. 5, 2016:

Nova Scotia

  • All schools in the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board are closed.
  • Schools in Colchester, Cumberland and Pictou counties are closed. Schools in East Hants are open.
  • Cape Breton Highlands Education Centre/Academy will begin dismissing students at 1 p.m.
  • The Kingstec, Annapolis Valley and Kingstec campuses of the Nova Scotia Community College are closed.

New Brunswick

  • All schools in the Anglophone East School District are closed.
  • All schools in the Anglophone South School District are closed.
  • The following schools in the Anglophone West School District are dismissing two hours early: Canterbury, Nackawic, Burrts Corner, Millville, McAdam, Harvey, Stanley, Boiestown, Doaktown, Chipman, Minto, Cambridge Narrows and Gagetown.
  • Elementary grades in the Greater Fredericton Area (including New Maryland, Keswick Ridge, Nashwaak Valley) are dismissing beginning at noon. Middle and high schools are dismissing two hours early.
  • Elementary schools in Oromocto, Geary, Burton, Lincoln and Fredericton Junction will have a normal Friday dismissal. Middle and high schools will dismiss two hours early.
  • The New Brunswick Community College Saint John campus is closed. Classes are cancelled at St. Andrews but the campus remains open.

Prince Edward Island

  • All schools in the French Language School Board are closed.
  • All schools in the English Language School Board are closed.
  • The University of Prince Edward Island is closed.
  • All Holland College campuses are closed.
