Here is a list of school closures and cancellations for Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017:

Nova Scotia:

  • All schools are closed in the Tri-County Regional School Board
  • All schools are closed in the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board
  • All schools are closed in the South Shore Regional School Board
  • All schools are closed in the Halifax Regional School Board
  • All schools are closed in the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board
  • All schools are closed in the Strait Regional School Board
  • All schools are closed in the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board
  • All CSAP schools are closed.
  • St. Francis Xavier University will delay opening until noon. Essential services will remain open.
  • Dalhousie University's Truro Campus will open at noon.
  • NSCC's Amherst Learning Centre, Cumberland Campus, Marconi Campus, Strait Area Campus and Wagmatcook Learning Centre are closed.
  • NSCC's Akerley Campus, Aviation Institute, Institute of Technology Campus and Waterfront Campus will open at noon.
  • NSCC's Pictou Campus is opening at 11:30 a.m.
  • NSCC's Annapolis Valley Campus, Centre of Geographic Sciences, Kingstec Campus, Lunenburg Campus, Burridge Campus, Digby Learning Centre and Shelburne Campus will open at 10 a.m.

New Brunswick:

  • All schools in the Anglophone East School District are closed.
  • All schools in the Anglophone West School District are closed.
  • All schools in the Anglophone North School District are closed.
  • All schools in the Anglophone South School District are closed.
  • All schools are closed in the Francophone Northeast School District.
  • All schools are closed in the Francophone Northwest School District.
  • All schools are closed in the Francophone South School District.
  • St. Thomas University will open at noon.
  • UNB's Fredericton campus will open at noon.
  • Classes at NBCC's Woodstock, St. Andrews, and Miramichi campuses are cancelled for the day.
  • Classes at NBCC's Fredericton Campus will be delayed until noon.
  • Classes at NBCC's Moncton Campus have been delayed until 10:30 a.m.
  • Classes at NBCC's Saint John Campus have been delayed by one hour.

Prince Edward Island:

  • All French and English public schools are closed.
  • UPEI is closed for the day.
  • All Holland College campuses are closed.
