An 18-year-old woman is facing dangerous driving charges in connection with a crash that claimed the life of a Grand Manan, N.B. teen last summer.
The RCMP say a minivan carrying five teens left Whistle Road, rolled over and landed on its roof in the ditch on July 13.
One of the passengers, 17-year-old Danielle Shaw Park of Grand Manan, died at the scene. Two other girls and two boys, all from Grand Manan, were taken to hospital and later released.
The driver is facing one count of dangerous driving causing death and three counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
Her name will not be released because she was 17 at the time of the crash.
She is due to appear in Grand Manan provincial court on March 19.
