Police in Halifax are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teen.
Hayden Mitchell, 15, was last seen leaving his Spencer Avenue home around 8 a.m. Friday.
Police say Mitchell never arrived at school and has failed to return home, although he did contact a friend through social media on Saturday.
Mitchell is described as a white male with a slim build, short blonde hair and blue eyes. He is five-foot-three inches tall and weighs 90 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a red and black jacket, black jeans, black boots and a carrying a black backpack.
Police say there is no evidence Mitchell has met with foul play, but they are concerned for his well-being.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 490-5016.
