The RCMP say a Moncton woman who was wanted in connection with a string of armed robberies has turned herself in to police.

An arrest warrant was issued Monday for 31-year-old Shila LeBlanc.

Police allege LeBlanc was involved in seven armed robberies at Moncton-area gas stations, convenience stores and at the Greco on Killam Drive between July 20 and July 22.

Police say no one was injured but money and lottery tickets were stolen.

LeBlanc was arrested after she turned herself in at the Codiac RCMP detachment around 7 p.m. Monday.

Police say she faces seven counts of armed robbery and seven counts of having her face concealed with the intent to commit an indictable offence.

LeBlanc is due to appear in Moncton provincial court Tuesday afternoon.
