RCMP are turning to the public for help as they investigate three recent break and enters at businesses in the Minto and Chipman areas of New Brunswick.

The first happened Sept. 11 at 6:00 a.m. At least one person broke into to the Foodland grocery store in Minto, leaving without taking anything. The suspect is described as Caucasian with a small build, 5'8" or shorter, wearing a dark blue hoodie, black pants, dark running shoes with white accents, and had a white and either black or blue bandana covering their face. The suspect was also carrying a dark backpack.

The next break in occurred Sept. 14 at around 1:45 a.m. Someone broke into the Omega Restaurant in Minto, and tried to take money and liquor, before being confronted by the owner. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

On the same morning, around 3:35 a.m., two suspects smashed the front door of the Valufoods store in Chipman and made off with cigarettes and lighters. A brown or tan Hyundai Sonata was seen circling the store before the break in.
