ESGENOOPETITJ, N.B. - RCMP in New Brunswick say they have charged a man in connection with a double stabbing earlier this week.
Police say the stabbing happened on the Esgenoopetitj First Nation on Thursday afternoon.
Both victims, a 25-year-old man and 33-year-old man, were taken to hospital and later released.
Police say 21-year-old John Craig Metallic of Esgenoopetitj First Nation was charged with aggravated assault on Friday in Miramichi provincial court.
Metallic is scheduled to appear in court again on Monday.
