A woman is dead after a head-on crash on Highway 11 in Glenwood, N.B., Saturday.
RCMP were called to the two-vehicle crash just after 11:30 a.m. A 74-year-old woman from Bathurst, N.B., died at the scene. She was a passenger in one of the vehicles.
Three other people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours while crews investigated. RCMP say it’s believed one of the vehicles crossed the centre line and collided with the oncoming car.
The victim’s name is not being released.
