Police are investigating three separate pedestrian-vehicle collisions, including one involving a stroller, that occurred in the Halifax area Friday morning.

Officers first responded to a collision at the intersection of Robie and South streets around 9:30 a.m.

Police say a 22-year-old woman was crossing Robie Street in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a car turning left from South Street onto Robie.

The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries. She was treated at the scene by paramedics and later taken to hospital.

A 42-year-old woman was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

Police responded to a second collision at the intersection of Hawthorne Street and Prince Albert Road in Dartmouth around 10 a.m.

Investigators say a 30-year-old woman was pushing a one-year-old girl in a stroller in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a delivery truck making a right turn from Hawthorne Street onto Prince Albert Road.

Police say the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by a family member. The baby was not injured.

No charges have been laid at this time.

A short time later, police responded to a third collision at the intersection of Robie Street and University Avenue.

Police say a 40-year-old man in a mobility scooter was crossing University Avenue in a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a car turning left from Robie onto University.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

A 75-year-old man was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

The ticket carries a fine of $693.95 and four points on a driver’s license upon conviction.
