A 16-year-old boy has died in an early morning house fire in Bathurst.
Bathurst police and fire departments were called to Van Tassel Street around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Officials have not released the victim's name, but a family friend has identified him as Jesse Chamberlain.
Police and the Fire Marshal's Office are investigating the cause of the blaze and the circumstances surrounding Chamberlain's death.
