A 57-year-old man is dead after his vehicle collided with a moose in Wayerton, N.B. Wednesday morning.
The RCMP say the moose was first struck by a vehicle travelling in the southbound lane of Chaplin Island Road.
The moose was then thrown into the northbound lane, into the path of the victim’s vehicle, which rolled over.
The driver of the second vehicle died at the scene. His identity has not been released.
The driver of the first vehicle was not injured.
The incident remains under investigation.
