A 24-year-old man is facing a voyeurism charge after a woman found a cellphone recording video in the staff washroom at a Halifax hotel.

Halifax Regional Police say the incident happened Friday around 3:45 a.m. at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in Halifax.

The woman told police she found a cellphone in the staff washroom of the hotel and later discovered it had been recording.

Officers were able to review the video and identify the suspect, who was arrested at the scene.

Roman Pegoski of Halifax appeared in Halifax provincial court later in the day to face the voyeurism charge.
