JOHNVILLE, N.B. –  The man that N.B. RCMP were looking for early Saturday morning has been found dead.

RCMP say around 9 p.m. Friday they received reports of a man barricading himself in a home on South Johnville Road near Bath, N.B.  Several surrounding homes were evacuated as a precaution.

45-year-old Anthony Armour spoke with negotiators through the night.  Officials say he was later caught in one of two sheds outside the home.

Around 5 a.m., the sheds caught fire, which spread to the home.  When Armour couldn't be located during the fire, RCMP notified the public.

At 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Armour's body was found outside of one of the sheds.

RCMP have not said what caused the fire.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.  The investigation is ongoing.
