MEAT COVE, N.S. -- RCMP say a 65-year-old man is dead after falling from a cliff in Cape Breton.
Police say they responded to a call from the community of Meat Cove just before 4.p.m. today.
They say a man had fallen 150 metres from a cliff to the rocks below.
Emergency personnel were able to get to the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the victim was from Halifax.
The Mounties have released no other details.
