A New Brunswick man is dead after being thrown from his snowmobile.
RCMP responded to the Bettsburg Road in Doaktown just after 12 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police say the man had been driving his snowmobile along the bank of Bettsburg Road when he lost control and was thrown from the vehicle.
The victim has been identified as 49-year-old Robert Stewart of Doaktown.
Police say the incident remains under investigation but alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
This is the fifth fatal snowmobile crash in New Brunswick RCMP jurisdiction so far this year.
