Police confirm a man's body has been found inside a building at 52 Canterbury Street, in uptown Saint John.
Officers received a 911 call around 9 a.m. Thursday morning alerting them to the body. It was removed from the building around 2:30 p.m. and officers were seen scouring the area all day Thursday.
The man's body has been taken to the Saint John Regional Hospital and police say next of kin have been notified.
They aren't releasing many details at this point but they do say the major crime unit is investigating.
