Halifax police are investigating after a man was stabbed and robbed in his apartment last night.

Police responded to the apartment building on Churchill Court in Dartmouth just before 11 p.m. Thursday.

They say four men entered an apartment unit, stabbed the 19-year-old male resident and robbed him of his cell phone before fleeing the scene.

The victim then made his way to the lobby, where he was found lying on the ground, suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as four black males. Police don’t believe the incident was a random act.
