HALIFAX - Workers tearing down an old high school in Halifax have found what appears to be a time capsule.
The sealed copper box has no identifying markings on the exterior and was found in the back of the building's cornerstone, which was placed in 1941.
Infrastructure Renewal Minister Bill Estabrooks says they're hoping it will provide a glimpse into the life of the city in the early 1940s.
The province is planning an upcoming event and is asking those who graduated from Queen Elizabeth High School during that time to get in touch.
Details have not yet been finalized.
