A year after a lone gunman took the lives of their husbands, Angela Gevaudan, Nadine Larche and Rachael Ross say they are finding comfort and strength in the support from their communities.
They say their lives will never be the same after Justin Bourque shot and killed their husbands, constables Fabrice Gevaudan, Doug Larche and Dave Ross on June 4, 2014, but that the community’s light is guiding them as they rebuild their lives and move forward.
They spoke following the unveiling of a design for a memorial to honour their husbands in Moncton on Thursday and also released a statement, thanking Monctonians for their love and support following the fatal shootings.
