Confederation Bridge tolls to increase after New Years

When 2015 rolls around, tolls on the Confederation Bridge will increase.

A spokesman with Strait Crossing Bridge says tolls for passenger vehicles will increase by 50 cents. A round trip to the island will now cost $45.50.

The operating agreement allows the company to adjust toll rates to inflation every January 1^st.
