Santa Claus couldn’t have planned it any better for the people of Halifax if he had tried.
The Emera Oval will open on Christmas day as it kicks off this year’s skating season.
Anxious skaters can lace-up and experience the outdoor rink between 2 and 4 p.m. tomorrow.
The Halifax Regional Municipality says public skates will be held daily as ice and weather conditions allow.
Last year’s season welcomed approximately 130,000 skaters to the oval.
