Police in Miramichi say foul play is involved in the death of a 49-year-old man whose body was found in the city's east end over the weekend.
The Miramichi Police Force says the body of Michael Mark Ryan was discovered at his home on Richard Drive early Saturday.
A forensic autopsy is scheduled to be performed in Saint John on Sunday.
Investigators say the home remains under police custody as they await the arrival of additional forensic experts on Monday.
Police have not released Ryan's cause of death, and say no other information is being released at this time.
