Police in Halifax are renewing a call for tips in the hopes of solving a decade-old murder case.

Laura Lee Cross was last seen on July 12, 2001.

Cross, 33, had been living at 18 Middle Street in Dartmouth at the time ofher disappearance. She was reported missing in August 2001.

Sunday will mark 10 years since her remains were found near Dollar Lake Provincial Park.

Police say two hunters found the remains off a logging road on Old Guysborough Road on Oct. 14, 2002.   

They were later identified as those of the missing woman.

Police are investigating Cross’ death as a homicide and are asking anyone with information about the case to come forward.

The case has been added to the Nova Scotia Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
