Halifax Regional Police are looking for three men after an armed home invasion in Halifax early Saturday morning.

Five adults were in a home on the 6200 block of Quinpool Road when the men broke in at around 4:10 a.m. The men were wearing masks and one was carrying a long gun.

The suspects stole a cellphone, cash and an X-Box video game console.

Police say the suspects are younger men. The man who was carrying the gun is described as being black, and about five-feet, 10 inches tall. The other two were white and about the same height. All were wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

A 46-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries after he was stabbed on Seascape Lane in Herring Cove, N.S., early Saturday morning.

Police say multiple people were at the residence when an altercation broke out between two men who were known to each other. One man was assaulted with a knife and the suspect fled the area.

The victim was taken to hospital. A 57-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a dangerous weapon. He is in custody and will appear in court Monday.
