Halifax Regional Police are investigating two separate reports of shots fired in the city overnight.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the Greystone neighbourhood in Spryfield around 2:40 a.m.

Police did not see any evidence of a shooting, but they received another call around 8:15 a.m. from the 100 block of Cobalt Walk, in the same neighbourhood.

They responded to the scene and discovered that residents awoke to find several bullet holes in their kitchen window. No one was injured.

In a separate incident, police responded a report that someone had fired gunshots at a home in the 3300 block of Federal Avenue in the city’s west end around 5 a.m.

Officers found a bullet hole on the outside of the home but no one was injured.

No arrests have been made and police aren’t certain whether the incidents are related.
